Hemp Flower Pre-Rolls (Joints)
Those who like to remain aware of the latest health and wellness news have likely recently heard a great deal about cannabidiol, or CBD for short. As the CBD market only continues to grow, new innovations in crafting helpful and beneficial CBD products are being made all the time. Certainly, smoking the cannabis flower is nothing new. Particularly for those who have consumed the marijuana derivative of the cannabis plant, smoking has long been a common method of consumption. Up until recently, however, smoking the CBD flower prerolls has been somewhat of a new development.
Understandably then, many have questions about exactly what flower and pre-roll products are, how they are used, and how well they deliver the benefits that are desired. At Th Hemp Collective we are proud not only to offer a wide variety of CBD flower and pre-roll products but also to answer many of the most commonly asked questions about them.
What Are Flowers and Hemp Flower Pre-rolls?
Essentially, a CBD pre-roll is simply a pre-rolled joint made with CBD instead of marijuana. A “flower” product, then, is simply the material, or flower, that goes into the pre-roll. This flower can also be purchased separately for those who wish to do the rolling themselves.
In discussing what pre-rolls are, it is important to be clear about what they are not. Understandably, and particularly because CBD is relatively still new to the market, many immediately make an association between CBD and marijuana. Certainly, this is a reasonable misconception as both CBD and marijuana are derived from the cannabis plant. While this is true, there are also a number of important distinctions between the two.
First, and most importantly, CBD contains very little tetrahydrocannabinol, more commonly known as THC. THC, as many may know, is the primary ingredient in marijuana responsible for causing the feeling of being “stoned” or “high” that many users experience after consumption. Marijuana contains very high levels of THC, but CBD, in order to be legal for sale, must contain .3% or less of THC. This difference is important because it means that those who choose to smoke CBD can have the peace of mind in knowing that they will receive the benefits they desire without any psychoactive side effects that they would prefer not to experience.
Smoking a CBD pre-roll is becoming a very popular way to ingest CBD as the CBD is quickly delivered to the bloodstream to begin delivering its beneficial effects.
